Goodman is one of the first physical therapists to become a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health and was recognized in 2009 by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties for this high achievement.  She received her biofeedback certification specialization in pelvic muscle dysfunction from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America, and is also a graduate of the three year program in Integrative Body Psychotherapy from the IBP Central Institute in Los Angeles.  Goodman received a bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and in Health Science graduating Magna Cum Laude in Physical Therapy from California State University, Northridge.  Her diverse health and wellness education includes Nutrition Science, Massage Therapy, Pilates-based exercise, and Reflexology.  She is involved in clinical research related to pelvic and sexual health, and has developed and implemented many unique programs during the 12 years on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center including prenatal, postpartum, mommy and baby exercise classes, incontinence and pelvic floor health programs for the non-surgical patient as well as for before and after urological or gynecological surgery, and body mechanics training classes for on the job safety.
